Description
If the lighting is switched off during the night, the supply of CO2 must also stop so that fish and shrimp do not suffer from an insufficient supply of oxygen.
For this purpose, there are ball valves, hand valves and solenoid valves (EL Valve). Ball and manual valves allow manual start/stop of the CO2 supply, while the solenoid valve can be connected to a timer that automatically controls the CO2 supply. A valve is necessary because the fine control screw on the CO2 regulator and the speed regulator do not completely stop the CO2 supply.
