The Dupla CO2 Set complete 250 is a complete professional CO2 fertiliser system for use in freshwater aquariums up to 250 litres.

The Dupla CO2 Set complete 250 has the CO2 Pro fitting. The pressure-tight precision needle valve enables a very fine adjustment of the number of bubbles, the precision pressure regulator allows a high control accuracy. The working pressure setting is finely adjustable. Thanks to the backflow valve, the system is protected against water running back. The Dupla CO2 Armatur Plus has large, easy-to-read working and bottle pressure gauges and an integrated safety pressure valve, as well as a wear-free seal to the bottle valve. The fitting is corrosion-resistant due to a material finish and has fine filters in the bottle connection and in the fine needle valve. The Dupla CO2 Armatur Plus is suitable for operation with the supplied CO2 bottle. With the Dupla CO2 Set complete 250, the aquarium is supplied with CO2 from the steel bottle (Dupla Depot). The pressure, which is higher than 64 bar depending on the outside temperature, is regulated down to an operating pressure of 1 bar by the CO2 fitting. The CO2 is released into the aquarium water in tiny gas bubbles via the atomiser. The dosage can be easily controlled via the bubble counter integrated in the atomiser. The CO2 content in the aquarium is checked using the CO2 endurance test, which shows exactly the CO2 value in the water. The set comes with a bottle of Plant 24 nutrient combination. Experience has shown that the beginning of CO2 fertilisation triggers a growth spurt in the plants, which can quickly lead to a lack of nutrients. According to Liebig's law of the minimum, however, the best fertiliser is of no use without the addition of the other fertilisers in the correct ratio. Plant 24 supplements these consumed nutrients. To ensure the optimal plant growth in the long term, Plant24 should be used in the aquarium together with Plant basic and Root K. Iron 24, potassium 24 and N / P 24 are recommended for aquascapers, as this combination of nutrients is specially adapted to the needs of aquascaping.
