Dupla CO2 Solenoid Valve

The Dupla CO2 solenoid valve is a valve for semi-automatic or fully automatic CO2 control in combination with CO2 fertilisation systems in freshwater aquariums.

The Dupla solenoid valve is a fully assembled valve for semi-automatic control by means of a timer or for fully automatic control by means of a pH value control and contains a backflow valve. Thanks to the innovative electrical diode switching, the CO2 solenoid valve Pro works extremely quietly, is energy-saving and has only a low heat development. Controlled by a timer, the de-energised, closed CO2 solenoid valve interrupts the CO2 supply and can thus save 50% of the CO2 consumption. Since plants do not consume CO2 at night, the solenoid valve should, therefore, run synchronously with the light control of the aquarium. In conjunction with a pH value control, the CO2 supply is optimised, since the aquarium is dosed with exactly the amount of CO2 that is consumed.

The solenoid valve can be retrofitted to CO2 fittings and is particularly suitable for use with a pH controller.
