Dupla KCL-Set

The Dupla KCL set is a refill set for pH electrodes.

The Dupla pH electrode set (not included in the contents of delivery) is used for precise pH value determination in freshwater aquariums and has laboratory quality. The Dupla pH electrode is only one functional link of a pH measuring chain, which consists of a measuring / control device and a probe. These two components, probe (electrode) and measuring / control device, have to be matched to each other in order to work precisely. After the first use, the calibration is repeated, then every 6 weeks. If the electrode asymmetry can no longer be calibrated, the KCL solution can be replaced. To store the electrode, the protective cap is filled with 3-molar KCL solution and carefully placed on the tip of the electrode. The diaphragm and the glass membrane are sensitive to dirt and algae. The result is a slow reaction of the electrode. Cleaning is recommended every 4-6 weeks.
