CO2 is indispensable in the well-kept aquarium and especially when aquascaping and is not only used for plant growth and algae containment - CO2 also regulates the pH value of the water and corrects it slightly in the acidic range; similar to the habitats from which most of the well-kept ornamental fish come. With the Scaper's Tools CO2 Diffuser Set you get a high-quality CO2 set that enables you to easily and professionally supply the carbon dioxide in the aquarium. The 26.5 cm long S-shaped diffuser feed line consists of high-quality stainless steel and a fine-pearl diffuser plate. Hang this over an edge of the aquarium so that the outflowing CO2 can be captured by the filter flow as far as possible and thus distributed in the aquarium. Thanks to the screw connections, you can easily connect the supplied CO2 hose to the supply line and insert the bubble counter and the safety valve shortly afterwards (by cutting the hose). In this way, you always have control over the CO2 supply and prevent the aquarium water from flowing back into your valuable CO2 fertiliser system. Now connect the hose end to your CO2 fertiliser system.

Tip: Use the enclosed CO2 hose, as it is designed for use with CO2. Conventional silicone air hoses are unsuitable for this purpose because the CO2 diffuses in them and escapes to the outside, which can lead to a reduced performance of your fertiliser system!
