Sera Phyto med Catappa

The herbal medicinal product sera Phyto med Catappa contains the extract of sea almond leaves (Terminalia catappa) as an active ingredient against fungi, bacteria and ectoparasites. It is the first medication for aquaristics based on catappa leaves. The maximum amount of medicinally active substances are released from the leaves with the new, unique extraction process developed by sera. Phyto med Catappa works faster thanks to a special agent mediator. It is up to 10 times more effective when compared to normal extracts or by merely adding catappa leaves.

sera Phyto med Catappa is suitable for the treatment of:

• bacterial diseases (e.g. fin rot); promotes healing in infestations with various bacteria such as Aeromonas hydrophila, Pseudomonas spp., Edwardsiella tarda, Plesiomonas shigelloides, Enterobacter spp., Shewanella putrefaciens, Streptococcus sp., Staphylococcus sp.
• fungal infections
• spawn fungus
• Trichodina sp.

It also reduces the infestation of Gyrodactyus sp. and Dactylogyrus sp. If possible, the diagnosis should be confirmed by examination of swabs taken from the skin or gills under a microscope.

Furthermore, sera Phyto med Catappa also supports regeneration after recovering from illness. Wounds heal more quickly and the risk of secondary bacterial infection or secondary fungal infestation is significantly reduced. The effectiveness of other medicines from the Phyto med range is improved by using sera Phyto med Catappa.
