Taking a measurement

Measuring with the photometer is simple. First, mix the reagent into the sample and gently shake the mixture. Then place the cuvette into the device, zero the meter and press “READ”.

The result appears quickly on the large, easy-to-read LCD display. If the device is not used for more than 10 minutes, it switches off automatically.

Special features

An integrated timer ensures that the chemical reaction takes place for the specified reaction time. Once the timer has finished, the device automatically records the measurement, helping to ensure consistent results across repeated use.

A built-in cuvette chamber ensures that the cuvette is always positioned in the same way and fits neatly into the recess. This keeps the sample consistently indexed, allowing results to be measured without deviation.

The device also features a built-in error message display. This helps prevent mistakes during the testing process and supports reliable measurement. Error messages may indicate, for example, a missing cuvette cap, values above or below the measuring range, a light source error or a zero calibration error.

The photometer also offers practical zero calibration. Simply place a sample cuvette in the cuvette chamber, index the cuvette and press the “ZERO” button. Calibration is completed in moments.
