Olibetta Gravel - Talerkies 8-16mm

This rarely offered Olibetta Talerkies natural gravel mix consists of colour-coordinated natural grains. The somewhat larger Talerkies is composed of flat pebbles and is therefore called by some aquarists also platelet gravel. It's great for accentuating single spots in an aquascape or plant aquarium, but of course, you can use the flat pebbles in the whole pool as well.

This gravel has a very natural effect, as if in a mountain stream with a strong current. You can also mix it well with our other gravel varieties. The Olibetta Talerkies is rounded so that none of the animals in your aquarium can hurt themselves on sharp edges.

This Olibetta natural gravel mix for aquariums has in addition to the decorative effect, a natural, biological filter feature that can contribute to good water quality. The natural gravel should be thoroughly rinsed with cold water before use to remove any abrasive debris and dust.
