Description

Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis 53B' is a stem plant with low demands and offers another advantage in addition to its beautiful leaves: it develops an unusually large number of side shoots, especially when pruned regularly. As a result, it grows into a lush bush and transforms underwater worlds into green havens that offer hiding places for fish. In very good lighting conditions, the bright green leaves can take on a reddish-brown colour - an interesting contrast if the plant is exposed to different light intensities. Thanks to its vigorous growth and a height of 15 to 30 cm, it is suitable for the middle or background.

  • Light requirements: partially shaded to sunny
  • Optimal temperature: 22 to 28°C
  • Water parameters: very soft to very hard, tolerant
  • CO2 addition: not necessary, but recommended
  • Propagation: cuttings

Note: The plants are grown in-vitro in sterile conditions in a laboratory. They are therefore also suitable for sensitive animals such as dwarf shrimps and can be used immediately. In-vitro plants do not harbour pests such as snails or parasites. No pesticides are used.
