The dark red colour of the natural Inferno River sand simulates the colour and texture of mud deposits in natural rivers, lakes or streams in the Amazon, West Africa and tropical Asia. The variable grain size ranging from 0.1 to 2 mm allows plants to be planted easily. It is also suitable for fish that like to burrow in the sand or to look for food. The distinctive red colour makes any scape appear warmer and is particularly effective in combination with light green plants.
