Solid construction featuring clever technology: The CLASSIC LT covers made of robust injection-moulded material are designed for freshwater aquariums and offer a lot more than natural lighting. It also reduces heat loss, reduces water loss due to evaporation and prevents aquarium dwellers from jumping out whilst allowing easy access to the aquarium itself.

The modern RETROFIT LED lighting modules are built into the cover and provide light that resembles daylight thereby improving the vitality of plants and animals. Animals become more active and thrive while plants grow more vigorously and are less likely to develop deficiencies. The colours look rich and natural thanks to increased light output in the near-natural colour temperature range, while the system consumes around 50% less power than conventional fluorescent lamps and operates for far longer.

A Smart Open system without hinges or supports allows quick access for feeding and care. Condensed water gets collected in tubes and channelled back into the tank. Pre-cut grooves allow the installation of hanging and canister filters and covers modified in this way retain the manufacturer's warranty.
