Description
Herbtana Freshwater by ARKA is a herbal-based care product to support the immune system. It supports your fish and strengthens their immune system without disturbing the biological balance of the aquarium.
When used as directed, Herbtana Freshwater is harmless to freshwater fish, invertebrates and plants.
Important instructions:
Switch off ozone generators during application. Ensure adequate oxygen supply. Remove carbon and/or zeolite from your filter. Biological filters can remain in operation. Herbtana biodegrades naturally after application; no water change is necessary.
Dosage:
Add 1 ml to 20 L of water over 10 days. In severe cases, longer-term use is necessary.

Herbtana
I used Herbtana for the recommended 10 days. I was a bit wary of switching off the ozone, uv filter, and carbon reactor for the duration, as I was adding 2 x copperband butterflies to my 2000 liter mixed reef display tank. I continued to carbon dose (vinegar, sucrose, vodka,) The last time I added a copperband the aquarium got ich, hence this time trying Herbtana. All is OK 1 month later. My Regal tang got a few spots immediately after treatment for a few days, so uv , ozone were switched on, and spots disappeared. I believe it was the Herbtana that STOPPED an outbreak. I was delighted I was able to get the larger 3.8 litre bottle.
