Dennerle Doser

The Dennerle Doser is an electroless automatic fertiliser that ensures permanent drip fertilisation in plant aquariums. It's an innovation from Dennerle.

With this doser, ensure a permanent and even supply of nutrients like in nature. This supports balanced plant growth. Due to the lower nutrient level, actively prevent algae formation. With the doser, fertilisation is possible in the simplest way. The automatic fertiliser is reliable because there are no moving parts and, unlike metering pumps, it works without electricity. The durable and high-quality plastic was developed and produced in Germany. The doser is specially designed for Dennerle V30 Complete and S7 VitaMix fertilisers. V30 is dosed automatically over 4 weeks, S7 over a week (two dosing devices are required for this). Aquariums from 50 to 300 litres can be supplied with this innovative fertiliser dosing unit made from high-quality, durable plastic.

The doser works on the principle of osmosis. Through a semi-permeable special membrane, the water migrates from the aquarium to the storage container, which presses the nutrient solution drop by drop into the aquarium. This has two effects. Firstly, the aquarium receives the amount of fertiliser it needs, and secondly, the doser becomes a kind of tank indicator - since the water only gradually penetrates and presses the fertiliser into the aquarium, the fertiliser water contained in the doser becomes ever clearer. If the content of the storage container loses colour (S7 orange, V30 yellowish-green), add more. The overall lower nutrient level in contrast to impact fertilisation and the need-based nutrient supply of the plants counteract excessive algae growth.
