Milwaukee MW12 Phosphate Photometer

This is a digital measuring device for reliably determining the phosphate concentration in aquariums, aquaculture and laboratories as well as other water treatment applications. The small device with an ergonomic design has an easy-to-read display with an LCD screen. In contrast to test strips, the values are not determined visually which leads to more accurate results and fewer incorrect measurements.

The measuring device uses an adaptation of the DPD method Standard Methods for the Examination of Wastewater 20th edition. The reaction between iron and the reagent causes the sample to change its colour.

The phosphate photometer is powered by one AAA battery (1.5 V). The device will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of non-use to save battery life. Calibrating the device is not necessary.

Application:

Add the reagent to the glass cuvette and get a digital reading with an accuracy of ± 0.04 ppm ± 4% of the reading at 25 °C*.
