This fine natural gravel grain is particularly suitable for aquariums with soil-inhabiting animals such as armoured catfish, crabs or shrimp. Straight armoured catfish like to dig in the aquarium sand and root for food. But this rounded Olibetta natural gravel is also perfect.

Olibetta aquarium gravel with this fine grain size is also good for cichlid aquariums - especially the transition from sand to rock zone can thus be ideally designed. For shrimp and crayfish in the aquarium, the gravel is also outstanding. Here, the animals can clear the stones and look for food. If you use coarse aquarium gravel in such a basin, the feed may fall between the pebbles so that the shrimp can not get into it.

This can not happen to you with this grain, which significantly reduces the water load. The plant roots are still well supplied with nutrients since this ground does not harden.
