These include insect larvae, worms, small crabs, as well as algae and numerous plants. You should also offer this variety in the aquarium. It's easy with Sera feed. The animals need various nutrients for life, which must be provided in sufficient quantities through food. Depending on the type of fish, the environmental environment and the stage of development, the demands on the form (depending on the source) and thus the specific usability of these nutrients and the weighing of the basic building blocks vary. Sera attaches great importance to avoiding insufficiently usable additives such as soybean meal, binders such as guar gum, synthetic amino acids, but also flavours and attractants, as well as preservatives such as ethoxyquin and especially materials from genetically modified organisms.

Sera Koi spring/autumn food is an easily digestible food for temperatures below 17 ° C. Below that, the metabolism of the animals is no longer fully functional. The feed must, therefore, be particularly easy to digest. This is the only way for the Koi to prepare for winter, or to start the year off-duty in spring. Sera Koi Professional spring/autumn food takes into account the special nutritional requirements of koi and other pond fish at temperatures below 19 ° C. The unique Sera process of co-extrusion enables the combination of differently treated raw materials. The ring contains particularly easily digestible raw materials, which relieve the metabolism. The core consists among other things of essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements for healthy growth and a strong immune system. Additional vitamin C further strengthens the immune system and reduces susceptibility to diseases.

Feeding recommendation: Feed 1-2 times a day throughout the year, as much as the animals can eat in a short time. Young animals can be fed more often (crush food if necessary). Once opened, the food bag should always be closed tightly and used up within a few months to prevent loss of freshness.

Tip: Regularly put on a fasting day to boost the animals' metabolism and to promote species-appropriate behaviour through active foraging. You can supplement the main food with other Sera foods to optimally alternate the daily menu of the fish.
