Description
Exo Terra Rainforest Substrate is a 100% natural and biodegradable substrate suitable for creating a tropical rainforest habitat in terrariums. The substrate made from sustainably grown maritime pine and sphagnum moss is ideal for humid tropical terrariums with plants thanks to its excellent hygroscopic properties. It absorbs odours and stores moisture, releasing it slowly into the air.
The substrate is heat-treated to prevent contaminating your terrarium with bacteria.
Instructions for use:
Spread a 5-10 cm thick layer on the terrarium floor. Moisten the substrate as needed. Remove soiled substrate daily. Replace the substrate completely after a while.
