Flying Hill - the floating stones. They consist of ultra lightweight pumice and contain so much air that they indeed float in the water. In order to prevent your Flying Hills from just bobbing at the water surface, take a length of fishing line and a suction cup and fix it on the bottom glass of your tank. If you use nylon threads of different lengths you can create truly fantastic worlds, just like out of the Avatar movie.

Thanks to the super porous surface, the Flying Hills are perfect for planting and enable you to
create floating forest islands in your aquarium. Bacteria that break down organic waste find here an ideal, vast area to settle and thrive so they can do their valuable job in your aquascape.

These spectacularly structured natural stones are perfect for freshwater aquariums and terrariums, and they can be planted with epiphytes and mosses in addition. These stones do not contain lime and therefore do not increase the water hardness.
