Olibetta Glossy Pebbles - Black

This shiny gravel consists of dark, glossy structured ash. You can use this dark shiny gravel to highlight individual details such as a beautiful plant or a great piece of decoration or to use the gravel in the entire aquarium to better emphasise the colours of your colourful ornamental fish. With its fine grain size of 1-2 mm, this great fine gravel is very even and gives a very smooth picture in the aquarium.

The shiny gravel is completely water-neutral, it does not release any minerals into the water and does not affect the water hardness. The fine grain size is well suited for use with floor filters or floor lights. Since the shiny gravel does not contain any nutrients, the aquarium plants should be supplied with the appropriate plant nutrients via a substrate fertiliser under the gravel.

You should rinse the shiny gravel with cold water before using it in the aquarium to remove dust and abrasion and to prevent the aquarium water from becoming cloudy. The shiny gravel is relatively sharp-edged and should therefore not be used in aquariums with bottom fish such as armoured catfish, which could injure themselves on the edges. The glossy gravel is therefore not primarily suitable for shrimp farming.
