Olibetta Gravel - Mekong River 2-3mm

You can create accents with different grain sizes, or you mix different colours, put them in parallel... just as your imagination would like. The Olibetta coloured gravel mix for aquariums not only looks decorative but also works as a giant biological filter - for an optimal biological balance in your aquarium.

The rounded shape of the gravel grains minimizes the risk of injury to the aquarium dwellers. We recommend the slightly coarser grain size of 2.0-3.0 mm for small community aquariums but especially for larger aquariums with residents with an active metabolism. It is great for use with a floor heater or floor washer.

Our gravel is plastic coated and may therefore be washed out only briefly and coldly before use in order to remove transport-related abrasion. The gravel should not be rinsed hot or heated above aquarium temperature.
