In well-lit, well-planted aquariums with fast-growing plants, nutrients run out quickly, especially if they are fed sparingly because only a few fish live in them. If there are nutrient deficiencies, the plants no longer grow well, but the algae will take over. With the aquatic plant fertiliser Aqua Rebell Macro Basic Estimative Index you supply your aquarium with the important macronutrients nitrogen, potassium and phosphate that your aquarium plants need for healthy growth.

When fertilising in an aquarium, we generally recommend a water change of approx. 25% to 50% a week. This will prevent excessive concentrations of nutrients from building up in the aquarium water. Please adjust the dosage recommendation to the specific conditions in your aquarium - sometimes the plants need more or less nutrients than suggested. It is also good if you monitor the nutrient concentration in the aquarium water at least initially with a water test. If you use the aquatic plant fertiliser Aqua Rebell Macro Basic Estimative Index correctly, no excessive concentration of nutrients in the aquarium water is to be expected. If you notice that something is accumulating, you should reduce the dosage.

Important: Aqua Rebell Macro Basic Estimative Index was specially developed for use in an aquarium that is run with plenty of light, CO2 fertilisation and a good supply of micronutrients. A CO ₂ concentration of approx. 30 mg / l should therefore be ensured. For the supply of micronutrients, we recommend the Aqua Rebell Micro Basic full iron fertiliser or Aqua Rebell Micro Special Flowgrow with a daily dose of 0.5-1 ml to 40 l of aquarium water, so that your plants can access sufficient micronutrients.

The liquid aquatic plant fertiliser Aqua Rebell Macro Basic Estimative Index supplies your aquarium plants with the important macronutrients nitrate, phosphate, potassium and magnesium and thus covers the entire need for essential macronutrients. This fertiliser is based on the Estimative Index fertiliser concept and is designed in such a way that your aquarium plants are always supplied in sufficient quantities with all nutrients. Please note that you also absolutely need a micronutrient fertiliser / full iron fertiliser here so that there are no nutrient gaps that would promote algae.
