Description

The JBL Micromec is a filter medium made from organic sintered glass balls for use in the external filters of fresh and saltwater aquariums and in the pond and is used for the biological degradation of pollutants.

The organic sintered glass balls are used for the biological degradation of pollutants and achieve an intensive water clarification through the bio-filtering. Microorganisms colonise the filter material and degrade pollutants. JBL Micromec is particularly effective and offers microorganisms an optimal colonisation area of 1500m2 / l. They promote the intensive breakdown of ammonium and nitrite.

Application
The sintered glass balls favour the settlement of useful cleaning bacteria. The aquarium water becomes crystal clear and ideal conditions for fish and plants arise.

JBL Micromec is suitable for almost all filter systems. Simply insert a mesh bag with Micromec Bio sintered glass balls as the last step after all other filter materials in the filter. Rinse well under running water before use.
