Description
The JBL Sintomec is a filter medium made from organic sintered glass rings for use in external filters of fresh and saltwater aquariums and in the pond and is used for the biological degradation of pollutants.
The organic sintered glass rings are used for the biological degradation of pollutants and achieve intensive water clarification through the bio-filtering. Microorganisms colonise the filter material and break down pollutants in a biological way. JBL Sintomec is particularly effective and offers microorganisms an optimal colonisation area of 1200m2 / l through conical tunnel pores in conjunction with a 5mm wall thickness.
Application
The sintered glass rings favour the settlement of useful cleaning bacteria. The aquarium water becomes crystal clear and ideal conditions for fish and plants arise.
JBL Sintomec is suitable for almost all filter systems. Simply insert a mesh bag with Sintomec Bio sintered glass rings as the last step after all other filter materials in the filter. Rinse well under running water before use.
