Manufacturer's instructions for use and care: All pH sensors have a limited lifespan; the reaction times become longer over time. Proper care, however, increases its lifetime and maintains the accuracy of its measurements. Milwaukee also offers a pH Maintenance Kit for professional cleaning and maintenance. Some tips from the manufacturer:

1. Always store cap with Buffer or Storage Solution MA9015. Never in water.
2. Clean the tester regularly by immersing it in cleaning solution MA9016.
3. After cleaning and/or storage, calibrate the device BEFORE testing to compensate for changes in the pH sensor.
4. Always stir the tester gently in the sample for a faster result.
