Algae, popularly known as “the green plague”, not only make the aquarium visually unattractive, but also indicate deficiencies or an imbalance in the supply of nutrients. Algae infestation must be remedied as quickly as possible before it harms all underwater life. Above all, the vital nutrients are readily “stolen” from the aquatic plants by these survival artists and used for their own propagation.

The blue and green algae remover is a quick rescue in an emergency in the event of heavy algae infestation. The liquid preparation prevents their normal metabolism, which means that their normally efficient photosynthesis can no longer be operated. The algae starve and can no longer reproduce.

The product contains copper sulphate which is toxic to some animals. Therefore, pay close attention to the dosage in aquariums with shrimp and other invertebrates.
