The Olibetta aquarium gravel acts like a giant biological filter in the aquarium, ensuring that aquarium biology is in good condition. The nuggets should be rinsed briefly with cold water before use to remove transport-related abrasion.

The large nugget grains with their bright colours and their rather large grain size of 5-8 mm make for great eye-catchers in the aquarium and for a varied structuring.

Our gravel is plastic coated and may, therefore, be washed out only briefly and coldly before use in order to remove transport-related abrasion. The gravel should not be rinsed hot or heated above aquarium temperature.
