Savannah Wood is a very expressive piece of aquarium decoration. Get a piece of truly tangled, gnarly, untouched African wilderness for your aquascape and give your planted tank an exotic, wild flair. Savannah Wood is relatively heavy and doesn't need a pre-soak. It's ideal for planting with Anubias from Africa for a true African biotope but looks also great with other epiphytic aquarium plants and aquatic mosses. Here you can simply insert the plants into one of the many openings of the Savannah Wood, and usually, you needn't go to the trouble of binding them to the driftwood to get a perfectly natural, exciting piece of aquarium decoration.

These spectacular pieces of real driftwood for freshwater aquariums and terrariums are an important source of fibre for catfish and invertebrates, and they add natural humins and tannins to the water, just like the water in the original biotopes of your aquarium pets.
