Great 100 cm high base cabinet for the Sera Scaper Cube
The modern Sera base cabinets were specially developed for the Sera Scaper Cubes (48, 64 and 80 litres). They are available in three sizes: 80, 90 and 100 cm. The base area of the Scaper Cubes is always the same at 40 x 40 cm, so the base cabinets are equally suitable for all Scaper Cubes.
The base cabinet is completely black, but there are six different styles to choose from for the door:
- Black
- Sonoma Oak
- Walnut
- Cherry
- Silver Oak
- Gray Oak
In keeping with the elegant design, the door works without handles. You can mount the push opener on the left or right so that the door opens to the left or right accordingly. The base cabinet and door are connected with adjustable hinges. Two shelves are included, which can be placed at different heights. So, for example, an external filter such as the Sera UVC-Xtreme can also be accommodated there. The cabinet is open at the rear so that the filter cables can be easily led out.
A Phillips screwdriver is all that is required for the simple assembly of the base cabinet. Allen key and wood glue are included.

We brought the Sera base cabinet 100cm with door, to use as advertised foe a base for our small aquarium. We were originally very pleased with the product, looked brilliant but after using for a few months noticed that the top panel veneer started to lift at the edges and peel back and expose the chip board underneath. Only the top panel has been effected, the rest of the unit is fine.
