Sera Koi Junior All Seasons Probiotic

With Koi All Seasons Prebiotic, Sera has achieved another groundbreaking innovation in the field of Koi feeding. This excellent koi feed contains for the first time the intestinal flora stabiliser Bacillus subtilis, which has been approved for ornamental fish since June 2016, which is expressly recommended by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) for use in ornamental fish feed in order to improve growth and feed utilisation. The optimal usability of the feed promotes the fast, balanced development and health of the fish. The strengthened animals get sick much less often. In addition, water pollution is not significant because of reduced fish-toxic and algae-promoting excretion products. The Sera Koi Junior All Seasons Prebiotic is an innovative special food for year-round feeding of small koi up to 15 cm at water temperatures above 8 ° C. In addition to the natural, functional ingredients such as MOS, beta glucans, Haematococcus, spirulina, etc., which are already standard at Sera, the floating granules contain the probiotic Bacillus subtilis, which stabilises the intestinal flora of the fish. This promotes their health and improves feed conversion. As a result, the young koi grow faster and more balanced, fall ill less often and the water is less polluted.

Feeding recommendation: Feed 1-2 times a day throughout the year, as much as the animals can eat in a short time. Young animals can be fed more often (crush food if necessary). Once opened, the food bag should always be closed tightly and used up within a few months to prevent loss of freshness.

Tip: Regularly put on a fasting day to boost the animals' metabolism and to promote species-appropriate behaviour through active foraging. You can supplement the main food with other Sera foods to optimally alternate the daily menu of the fish.
