Tropic Marin Liquid Buffer, 500 ml

Maintaining suitable water parameters (pH value and carbonate hardness) is extremely important in reef aquariums! Fluctuations, values that are too high or too low lead to acidification and cause disease and stress in aquarium dwellers. Tropic Marin's Liquid Buffer increases carbonate hardness and stabilises the pH value of the water in reef aquariums with saltwater fish, soft corals, LPS, SPS and crustaceans.

Ingredients: carbonates, hydrogen carbonates.

Application and dosage:

If the carbonate hardness or the pH value of the water in a saltwater aquarium is lower than it should be, use Liquid Buffer to raise the values to the optimal level. Add 30 ml Liquid Buffer to 100 litres of aquarium water (approx. + 0.8 °dH). Repeat the application daily if necessary.

Note: The carbonate hardness should not exceed 9 °dH.

Always check the water parameter levels before you mix in any additives. The ideal carbonate hardness of saltwater in saltwater aquariums should be between 6 and 9 °dH while the pH value should be between 8.1 and 8.4.
