Dennerle Nano Catappa Bark is natural sea almond bark that is used for water maintenance in freshwater aquariums.
With the Catappa Bark, you can support the natural water care in the aquarium and offer your sucking catfish (Ancistrus species), shrimp and snails a valuable nutritional supplement. The bark pieces contain numerous natural active ingredients that have a positive effect on the water and the animals and contain valuable humic and fulvic acids. They promote well-being, vitality and readiness to spawn. Catappa Bark are the recipe for success of Asian breeders and exporters of aquarium fish. The Catappa Bark are dried and hand-picked pieces of bark from the almond tree Terminalia catappa and add natural substances to the water that the aquarium fish are already used to from their home waters. The ingredients protect and strengthen the mucous membrane and gills of the fish and strengthen the shells and gills of shrimps and crabs. They also strengthen the body's defences, inhibit harmful germs and reduce stress. With Catappa Bark you can prevent fungal diseases in your fish, but also the spawning of fish eggs. In a natural way, you can increase the breeding success of your animals.
Catappa Bark mildly acidifies the aquarium water and stabilises the pH. This makes them ideal for new furnishings, but also as holiday food for catfish!
Application: Add 1 bark to 20 litres of aquarium water. After about 1-2 days, it is saturated with water and sinks to the bottom. After 4-6 weeks, the active ingredients are released or the pieces of bark are eaten - then you can renew them.
