JBL ProScape K Macroelements is a potassium plant fertiliser for aquascaping aquariums and supplies plants with the necessary nutrients and prevents potassium deficiency.

JBL ProScape K Macroelements supplies the aquarium water with potassium in the form of water-soluble potassium salts. This gives the aquatic plants the necessary potassium intake. Potassium plays a crucial role in all life processes. In plants, for example, potassium is directly involved in controlling the stomata. In addition, potassium takes on important functions in controlling the enzyme activities in the cells. The macro elements take up potassium as a third important element from the plants, whereby they are able to absorb more potassium than they currently need and store it in the tissue. Potassium is available in nature without limit. In the plant-based aquarium, however, potassium quickly gets to the minimum and then becomes a limiting factor for plant growth.

Since the specific consumption cannot be predicted exactly, we recommend regular checking of the nitrate and phosphate values, especially before each subsequent replenishment. The nutrient consumption across all necessary micro and macro elements is unpredictable, especially with some microelements, and depends heavily on the cultivated aquatic plants. At the very low concentrations, these microelements cannot be measured using aquarium tests. It is therefore advisable to prevent the accumulation of individual nutrients by regularly changing the water at a rate of 30-50% weekly and adding fertiliser with JBL ProScape Fe + Microelements in plant aquariums. JBL ProScape P Macroelements can be used in the aquarium with invertebrates without danger. The fertiliser is not harmful to shrimp, crayfish and snails.
