Oase EDEN Floor Heating Cable

The EDEN floor heating is a heater for freshwater aquariums and is used for a thermal flow of water, which has a positive effect on the root formation of aquarium plants.

Aquatic plants grow better in the wild if they have access to nutrient seepage sources. Plants get their food from these sources. Due to the underfloor heating, which becomes weakly warm, water rises and the cold water, full of dissolved nutrients and minerals, flows downwards. This creates a thermal flow that flushes the food of the plants directly to the roots.

Easy installation

Place the heating cable in even loops on the cleaned bottom pane when setting up an aquarium. The heating cable is fixed with the included suction cups. Lead the cold leads of the cable out of the aquarium and attach them to the transformer. The separation into hot and cold conductors can be recognized by the black lines on the cable.

Safe use

For safe use in the aquarium, the heating cable is silicone-coated and works with an energy-saving transformer with 12 V voltage. The transformer should be installed in a well-ventilated, splash-proof location. The underfloor heating ensures slight warming of the substrate, but should definitely be supplemented with a heater for warm water fish.
