The Talerkies is characterized by its flat shape - therefore some people call it platelet gravel. With this beautiful gravel, you can set perfect accents in an aquascape, the flat pebbles invite literally to flit and they look totally natural.

You can use this aquarium gravel exclusively in the aquarium or use it together with other gravel varieties. It's great for loosening the layout in the aquarium or aquascape, and you can use it to accentuate individual spots. The edges of the pebbles are rounded so that none of your aquarium dwellers can hurt themselves.

Not only does this Olibetta natural gravel mix look totally decorative, but it also acts as a natural, biological filter by breaking down organics in the aquarium water. The natural gravel should be thoroughly rinsed with cold water before use to remove any abrasive debris and dust.
