Tropic Marin SYN-BIOTIC Sea Salt, 4kg

Tropic Marin SYN-BIOTIC is a pharmaceutically pure sea salt that contains all the main and trace elements found in tropical seawater. All of the 70 trace elements are optimally dissolved and stabilised by the bioactive substances it contains.

The sea salt contains optimal levels of calcium and magnesium for reef aquariums, bacteria for shrimp and fish, and bacterial food to create ideal, nutrient-poor conditions for LPS and SPS corals. The sea salt supports nitrification and denitrification in the nitrogen cycle.

Regularly using SYN-BIOTIC sea salt stabilises the microbiology and the pH value of the saltwater and ensusres that the inhabitants get used to the aquarium biotope over the long term.

Application and dosage:

A value between 32 and 35 ‰ is usually used as a reference for the salinity of seawater aquariums. Dissolve 35 ml of Tropic Marin SYN-BIOTIC in 1 litre of water in a container. When the salt has completely dissolved and the mixture is clear, the seawater is ready for use.

Tip: The optimal density of the sea salt solution is 1.022-1.024 at 25 °C. If you change at least 10% of the seawater every week and add Tropic Marin SYN-BIOTIC to the fresh 10% water, you can maintain the quality of the water.
