JBL Agil

JBL Agil is a staple food stick that floats on the water surface and is adapted to the needs of small and medium-sized turtles (10-50 cm). The feed combines fish and crustaceans with plant-based ingredients that ensure a healthy and balanced diet for the turtles and terrapins. Fish and crustaceans provide sufficient protein, and the vitamins contained in the food also strengthen the turtles' resistance. The added amino acid lysine, which the body cannot produce itself but which is indispensable, supports species-appropriate and not too rapid bone growth.

JBL Agil is suitable for the following animal species:

• hinged turtles
• eared turtles
• terrapins
• tropical pond turtles
• sea turtles

Feeding recommendation:

Especially for sea turtles:

Young animals that are still growing can get as much JBL Agil as they eat within 10 minutes 2-4 times a day in the water part. For adult animals it is sufficient if they are fed in the same way 4-5 times a week.

Especially for tortoises:

JBL Agil contains a lot of protein. Therefore, it should not be fed too often to the tortoises, which are otherwise mainly herbivorous. However, if the animal is in a weakened state, JBL Agil can also be used as main food for a while. It is important to note that tortoises like softer food. So if you soak the sticks in water before feeding them, your tortoise will love you even more!

A notice:

Stored closed and dry, the product has a shelf life of three years. Once opened, you should use the food within three months.
