JBL TerraTemp Heatmat 25W

TerraTemp Heatmat by JBL is a self-adhesive infrared heating mat designed to generate and evenly distribute warmth in terrariums. It’s made from extra-tough PET film and includes two secure insulation layers with integrated overheating protection. For added safety, the electrical connection is sealed with a special resin. The electrical connection is sealed with a special resin for maximum safety.

The mat can be installed virtually anywhere – on the floor, side walls, or ceiling of the terrarium. For installation in visible areas, the pack includes a dark brown decorative film. JBL recommends installing the heating mat on the outside of the terrarium to protect it from moisture. The mat emits radiant heat to keep your reptiles warm.

Tip: JBL advises against placing the heatmat on the terrarium floor. In the wild, reptiles are used to warmth coming from above, typically from the sun. If overheating occurs, they instinctively try to burrow in the ground to escape the heat – which can worsen the situation by increasing the heat exposure even more.

Note: The maximum temperature the JBL TerraTemp Heatmat can reach is 45°C.
